Rotunda Ballroom Ochre Court Wedding

There’s nothing like a summer wedding in Newport, and this Rotunda Ballroom Ochre Court wedding was stunning. To start the day, the girls rented a condo right across from Perrotti Park in downtown Newport, then we walked across the street for a few photos. We then headed over to Ochre Court on the campus of Salve Regina. Last stop was their ceremony and wedding reception at the Rotunda Ballroom at Easton’s Beach in Newport. Daisy and Ryan got married in a quick ceremony right on the boardwalk, they then took a couples turns on the carousel and were able to enjoy cocktail hour thanks to their earlier first look at Ochre Court. Keep scrolling to see their amazing reception!

What a gorgeous dress from Camilla’s Bridal in Arlington! I do love a good cap sleeve.

These quick mom-daughter moments are the best!

The Newport harbormaster couldn’t say “no” to a bride and her girls, and let us hop out onto the dock for a few quick photos!

I’m a huge fan of the first look for anyone who wants to attend their own wedding 😉 But seriously, it’s such a great idea, and it truly does not ruin the moment of your future spouse seeing you for the first time. In fact, I think it’s a much better moment where you can actually talk to each other, exchange hugs, check out the dress. Especially if you’re at all nervous for the ceremony, the first look is a great way to calm the nerves, and spend a few private moments enjoying each other before the craziness begins!

Now that is an incredible family picture spot. Inside the Ochre Court mansion is just breathtaking!

I love these DIY centerpieces

Ceremony at Easton’s Beach

The other benefit of the first look is that we had this quick five minutes to walk down to the beach and grab these few photos without feeling rushed.

This kind of beats the traditional champagne wedding toast, don’t you think?

Daisy climbed up the lifeguard chair, then jumped off. It’s sort of a trust-building exercise 🙂

Back to the beach for sunset

The kids at this wedding were so cute!

In the middle of the reception, the DJ played the ice cream man song and everyone went downstairs and got to order whatever they wanted!

Apparently, Ryan knows Daisy likes to shoot things, so he surprised her with a CO2 cannon. She completely doused her bridesmaid, don’t worry it evaporates right away.

What a fun Rotunda Ballroom Ochre Court Wedding!

Did you see their engagement session?
