I’m so happy to share this Alden Castle wedding from New Year’s Day 2022! Jess and Neil’s wedding had everything, except what you’d expect from a January 1 wedding in Boston. It was 50 degrees and we got a ton of photos outside, nice and comfortable.
The best part of the getting ready portion of the day is that Neil got a burger from their favorite first date spot. It was a really sweet surprise for Jess, and she obviously loved it. We were at the Hotel Commonwealth right across from Fenway Park which is where everyone got ready for the big day. We did the first look out on their awesome deck overlooking Fenway and Neil got to see Jess in her Essence of Australia dress from Alexandra’s. They were SO full of emotion and just so excited to see each other. We then all got on a big bus from Black Tie Limo that took us over to the public garden. We walked around before heading over to Commonwealth Avenue and were able to get some of the brownstones in the photos as well.
Back at Alden Castle in Brookline, the staff had a super fun champagne tower waiting. Then it was ceremony time! We were in the Vintage Ballroom side of Alden, and the cocktail hour was upstairs in the mezzanine. Sarah’s Floral Design had transformed the space into a lush green and red winter wonderland. Everyone was blown away when we walked in. At the beginning of the ceremony, my second photographer was able to get a favorite photo from the balcony as Jess walked down the aisle by herself before Neil met her halfway.
Chris Capozzi had a crazy wedding/club atmosphere going for the party and it was wild and really fun!
