Julie and Joel’s Beauport Hotel Gloucester wedding was definitely one I’ll remember for a long time! I love how expressive they are with their emotions, there were so many wonderful moments at this wedding. We started out at the hotel for getting ready, then rode over to Bass Rocks for photos. It’s such a great spot with an incredible ocean view. Back at the Beauport the weather was perfect for their outdoor ceremony on the deck. After cocktail hour inside, they enjoyed their reception and danced to a mix of American pop and Armenian music all night long! This wedding was such a blast for me to photograph. I genuinely connected with the couple and their families and I know they felt the same with me.
Check out their note they sent me after the wedding.
“Hi Stephen, first off I just wanted to thank you for the way you interacted with us and our families on the most important day of our life. Not only were you attentive to anything we had requested prior, and ensured we got what we needed (even when we lost track of it lol) but you took the time to know US both as individuals and knew how to interact with us to help calm us. YOU, as few people do, actually seem to understand who we are…We knew when we first met you this was the person you are.
Then we saw your pictures and were even more blown away! Not only did you know what we needed emotionally as people but you beautifully captured those moments (and every one of them) for eternity. Your insight is mindblowing! Pure artistry. We still cannot fathom how you missed nothing, (you even got me hitting the drum as I walked by!)
I cannot thank you enough for everything you have been to us, you had our backs in ways that far extended the responsibilities of a photographer and we are so very touched and grateful for that.
You are the epitome of photographer and PERSON we wanted to have at our wedding.
Thanks again
I love these getting ready moments with momma!

Best first look ever???
It keeps getting better.
Had to stop in the dirty stairwell for a photo with the good light!
Julie’s dress from Vows Bridal Outlet blowing in the wind.
How cool is this?! Bass Rocks in Gloucester is where we had our own wedding photos taken ten years ago!
Beauport Hotel Gloucester Wedding
What a view!
Sage Floral Studio does beautiful work, love the room setup at the Beauport!
The speeches were hilarious…
…and emotional.
Julie’s 90-year old grandmother was dancing like crazy!
Julie’s family started playing Armenian music halfway through the reception and it was amazing!
Then Julie’s sister-in-law surprised them and joined the band for a song!
What a sweet moment that I know means so much to Julie’s dad.
GET IT!
DJ Tim from Beat Train was awesome!
