Aileen and John had a beautiful, non-traditional Boston seaport wedding on a rainy day back in October. We took photos at many of Boston’s iconic spots before heading to Del Frisco’s steakhouse for an intimate low-key wedding reception. The night ended with an after party and private tour at Harpoon brewery in the seaport. I absolutely love unconventional weddings, you can make it your own and plan a perfect day that means the most to you. Be sure to check out their Castle Island engagement session also!
We started at the Boston Renaissance Waterfront Hotel with Aileen and her sisters getting ready. it was the perfect location in the seaport to start the day.

Rainy day wedding portraits in Faneuil Hall
It was drizzling during most of our portrait time, but these two were so easy going and embraced it. I actually love when weather plays a factor because you get unique photos that you would not otherwise be able to get.

Bride and groom in Starbucks downtown Boston
We had been shooting for a while in the rain and cold, and just needed a quick Starbucks pick me up. The baristas were so happy to see us!

Boston Seaport Wedding – Del Friscos
Who wouldn’t want a quick old fashioned before your wedding ceremony?!
These two are world travelers and always on planes. John especially can look at a plane and tell you immediately what model it is. Their airplane wedding decor is very fitting.

Love this photo of the ring and the vows.
I’m pretty sure this expression is, “we’re married, what?!?! Kiss me!”
Lots of happy sister tears on this day.
