This was my first Brookmeadow Country Club wedding and I loved it! Alanis and Sam got ready at the
Hilton Garden Inn Canton, which is 13 minutes from Brookmeadow. The rooms were a decent size and had some good natural window light. The lobby also had some good backdrops, so we utilized that for some group photos before heading to the church. We drove about 30 minutes up to Newton and Sacred Heart Parish. It is a beautiful large church and they had candles down the entire aisle which gave it such a romantic feel.
Church actually went almost 30 minutes late so by the time we got to Brookmeadow we had to hustle. It was mid-November, and the sun was setting fast. They wanted to join their cocktail hour so we had about 30 minutes to do family and wedding party photo, plus portraits of just the bride and groom. We did it! This is where it really helps to have a second photographer. It was freezing, so I especially love the photos we got by the fire pit before heading inside.
Everyone had so much fun at cocktail hour, there was a bit of live music and the food was amazing!
My good friend, Julie, from Something Bleu was their planner and she did an amazing job with everything leading up to the day. The day of also went flawlessly. She and Soulflora transformed the ballroom with greenery on the chandaliers and a perfect lat fall aesthetic. Julie’s the best! She also designed this flat lay to start the day. Serif and Sans designed their invitation suite and it is beautiful!
This was a fun group! Glamour Cosmetics and Alexa Rae Beauty are always so great to work with.
Loved her dress!
This church was so grand but warm and inviting as well.
Hopefully they look warm but we were all freeezing!
