I feel like more and more of my couples are living in South Boston. It just has the best of everything – quirky restaurants, easy commute, and wonderful views. The view was especially good from Mary and Ryan’s roof deck. We started out on the roof before heading over to Carson Beach. There, they kicked off their shoes and we found some wonderful soft light that made the color of the ocean really pop. To end the night we headed over to East Boston to get the Boston skyline at night.
My favorite part is always just getting to know my couples before the wedding day. We had a couple 15 minute car rides between locations where we just talked about everything and I feel like I’ll be able to capture their true personalities at their wedding. It just makes it so much better when you feel like you have a friend their to capture every moment instead of some stranger following you around with a camera. I already know that their wedding this summer is going to be one of my favorites in 2019, and I can’t wait! Enjoy this Carson Beach South Boston engagement session.
