Rachel and Unsal’s Charles River micro wedding was honestly so refreshing to photograph. It was a beautiful day with two people so excited to be married. They were surrounded by a small group of their family and friends. After a tough year in 2020 and at this point COVID was starting it’s fall surge, this was a fun and joyous break from the chaos in the world.
We started with their first look and you just can’t beat Unsal’s reaction. I only post a few photos on these blogs but I have every moment and I love seeing the progression of emotions. Afterwards we walked down to the Charles River, near the Artesani playground. They wanted to get some photos in their neighborhood before the ceremony. I especially love the photos by the water. A lot of photographer stay away from bright sunlight but I really enjoy the saturated colors that you get.
They were married under their Chuppah and Unsal’s family watched by video from the other side of the world. They had some pizza and sandwiches and had a picnic reception in the grass under the trees. After cutting the challah and the cake they talked and celebrated by relaxing in the park and spending some rare time together. It was short and sweet and I feel fortunate to have been a part of it!
