I got to go to a lot of new venues this year and this Danversport wedding was a first for me. It’s a beautiful venue for sure but the staff really stood out to me. I’ve been to hundreds of wedding venues but the team at the Danversport were some of the friendliest and most helpdul I have worked with. They have multiple event spaces available. The huge Harborview ballroom upstairs, The Terrace Ballroom and Waterfront Room, where we were, and the smaller Lighthouse Point space. I loved our space because it was two separate rooms for cocktail hour and the reception. The ceremony spot was great too, right on the harbor, and I loved the pergola backdrop.
Kass and Jared were so much fun! They really wanted to just have a good time, and it showed. They threw a great party for their families and friends. One of the highlight was during our portrait session, the staff at Danversport opened up the gate to go down to the dock. It’s a steep downhill and the floor is a metal grate. There was no way Kass’ heels were going to get her down there. As the coordinator went to get the bride some flip flops, Jared just picked her up and carried her down the steps. Pretty sure his biceps ripped through his jacket lol 🙂
Everyone had a great time at cocktail hour and used the indoor and outdoor space. Back in the ballroom I loved capturing all the beautiful details. During the reception everyone gathered on the dance floor and went crazy! They lifted Kass and Jared up on chairs and it was so fun. They also had an amazing dessert station set up, which to me is a great reason to book a wedding at the Danversport 🙂
