Cheryl and Julie had a perfect day for their Emerson Inn by the Sea Rockport Wedding. Along with their crazy fun bridal party, these two truly enjoyed their wedding day spent laughing with friends and family. Their oceanside wedding at the Emerson Inn was filled filled happy tears and emotion. There were also a few antics that made it hard to keep the camera still, because I was laughing so hard! One of the best parts was Cheryl’s sisters stamping people’s hand on the dance floor. Only people dancing would get a stamp. You had to have a stamp to get a drink at the bar – genius idea, lol!
After a tear-filled ceremony on the oceanfront lawn, they got everyone a drink and had a toast before walking back up the aisle. Afterwards we walked right down to the rocky coast of Cape Ann. The stunning scenery was the perfect backdrop for the wedding portraits we captured. Back inside, one of the most memorable moments was Cheryl’s father’s toast. It brought out many more tears, and was so sweet. I always think of my little girl getting married someday when there are father-daughter moments at weddings.
After lots of dancing, and a quick evening photo on the terrace, we said good night to one of the most generous and loving couples I’ve had the opportunity to photograph. I loved every minute with these two!
