Glen Magna Wedding

Glen Magna Wedding

I love this Glen Magna wedding in Danvers, Ma. The couple was so sweet and happy all day. Glen Magna Farms is actually owned by the Danvers Historical Society and open to the public. The gardens and grounds are really the stars at Glen Magna. There’s quite a bit of space to explore which is fun for your guests. It’s also great for photos because you can find good light and shade throughout the property. This was a very hot July day, and the ceremony in the garden was a bit warm. But they had a few fans in the tent to cool everyone off.

The Mansion at Glen Magna Farms is a dream venue. There’s a historic mansion where you can get ready and take photos. I especially love the staircase! There’s a huge covered porch, and multiple garden areas on the property. It’s really a hidden gem! I love that they also have outdoor and tented areas for the ceremony. The sailcloth tent is huge and accommodates up to 200 people.

Katie and Alex got married on a hot day in July, luckily there’s plenty of shade around the venue. The ceremony was out in the gardens, and cocktail hour back on the lawn by the mansion. I loved how they had lots to do for their guests. Yard Pong, Four in a Row, Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Lawn Darts, Dominos and (Flamingo!) Ring Toss – these were all so fun for their guests.

I also really loved their reception. After the toasts we were able to go back outside for some sunset photos around the property. Once back under the tent DJ Backspin killed it and they danced so hard. Everyone was sweaty and happy 🙂

Because we did the first look and photos before the ceremony, they were able to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests!
