I’m really thrilled to be able to share my first Gore Place wedding! Gore Place is an historic country house, but now it’s a museum open to the public. It’s located in Waltham just outside of Boston and the grounds are beautiful. There’s even a farm on the property with some animals and a really cute farmstand. L & J both got ready off-site and the got dressed in one of the rooms in the mansion. After their first look we went right over to this huge old tree that you can go under and be surrounded by leaves. There are so many pretty spots for photos all within a short walk.
I loved the red decor of their ceremony outside just to the left of the mansion. It was definitely a hot day in June, but the shade under those trees was perfect. It got cloudy at the perfect time for the outdoor cocktail hour outside of the tent. Everyone had a great time catching up with family and friends and then they were all welcomed into the tent for the wedding reception. They got a beautiful sunset and then danced all night with a couple of break to go check out the sheep across the field! Feel free to check out their Great Brook Farm engagement session as well.
