I’m so happy to share Lora and Terence’s Lake Pearl wedding! First, click though to their Rockport engagement session. Before we get to Lake Pearl we started off the day at the hotel with Lora and her girls getting ready. She got dressed in her red Chinese dress first because we were about to spend the early part of the day going to each of their families’ houses for a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. I’ll explain more about that when we get to that part of the day below.
Later, at Lake Pearl, the sun was shining and you could tell that it was the beginning of fall. Right before sunset, they had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony on the lawn. My favorite part was how much they were both trying not to cry during the ceremony. Lora had a tough time making it down the aisle without losing it, and Terence started tearing up later during the ceremony. Luckily there was plenty of tissues and support from their family and friends. Back inside they had a HUGE, epic party. That’s the great thing about Lake Pearl, you can invite a lot of people!

Before entering Lora’s family home, The groom and groomsmen had to play a few games that the bridesmaids came up with.
First they had to pass some seaweed around without dropping it, using their mouths lol
Then they had a minute to make up a song, very well done guys!
Then you have to pay to enter!
Then you can finally see your bride, so fun!
Lora and Terence served tea to their family members.
Then we went over to Terence’s house to serve tea to his family!
