Weddings are back in 2021! This was my first big-ish wedding in a very long time. Jen & Derek were the perfect couple to kick off the main part of my 2021 season. The best part is that they actually danced! Like a real dance floor – with a DJ. It was so fun. Their Oceanview Nahant wedding was such a fun way to get back into somewhat of a regular, normal wedding season. Feel free to check out their engagement session in Nahant also.
Jen and the girls rented a beautiful house in Nahant, while Derek and the guys got ready at their home. The girls were popping champagne, and the guy apparently couldn’t find their shirts. 🙂 After everyone was ready, we all met at the little park next to the Oceanview, and it turned out to be a gorgeous day. Jen was even willing to hike down in her heels onto the rocks to get those spectacular views!
Back inside the tent, they had their ceremony by the water. There was so many happy tears, inside jokes, and love in that room. I really love the quick photos we got on the rocks right after the ceremony as well. Gotta show off those Louboutin’s!
The party was my favorite. They had so much energy for their entrances and the first dance was so fun. After dinner, they really let loose – Derek lost his shirt again – and they partied hard! I stayed until their last dance on the beach surrounded by sparklers and their favorite people. It was perfect.
