I’m loving this super unique Old Stone Church engagement session. Allison and Drew introduced me to this place and I was in photographer heaven. It was a little overwhelming to walk into a brand new location, but also got my creative juices flowing instantly. Our first few shots were inside the old church where I kicked up some dirt as the sun was pouring through the windows. This created the effect you see below. I love the light rays hitting the dirt and adding to this magical setting.
After a few more photos by the rocks and the water they changed into a new outfit. It’s such a great location because you can get so much variety without going very far. Old Stone Church was built in the 1890s but was abandoned just a few years later. It’s been on the National Register of Historic Places since the 70s. People were there fishing and walking around, but for the most part it was quiet and peaceful.
I loved exploring with Allison and Drew. They are a gorgeous and fun couple and I loved their style. Even though COVID has delayed their wedding a bit, I’m so excited to see them again hopefully soon!
