Laurie and Drew had a beautiful Liberty Hotel Boston wedding. It was a perfect day in May. We were able to get some creative and unique portraits after the first look. We explored the courtyard, outside and back inside the hotel. I especially love photographing in the rotundas of the Liberty. It’s such an unmatched hotel with it’s funky spaces and history of being a former jail. I really love the photos where I was two floors above them and they were on the lobby level. We could really show off the space.
Laurie’s flowers were especially fun and unique. Orion Floral Studio also did an incredible job with the Chuppah for the Jewish ceremony. Laurie and Drew also chose to honor their Jewish heritage by signing the Ketubah, which was a really sweet moment. After the wedding ceremony, everyone headed up to the 5th floor rotunda for cocktail hour. Everyone loved the space and getting to see friends and family in such a fun environment. Then, once all the florals were set up back in the ballroom we were ready to party!
Night Shift is one of my favorite bands to work with and they really brought the house down for this one!
A couple other vendor shoutouts:
Makeup by Marlo and Primp Salon did a great job getting everyone looking their best. And Laurie looked amazing in her dress from Flair Boston. It had a unique veil that hooked on to the waist of the dress. That was a first for me!
Their dog got to join in on the pre ceremony fun!
Loved Laurie’s whole look.
This spot on the lobby level of the hotel is amazing. There’s a huge window behind me which gives the most beautiful natural light. And that background is amazing.
Laurie wanted something fun for her bouquet and she got it!
