After many photo sessions together and rescheduling due to COVID we finally made it to Lauren and Dave’s Wychmere Cape Cod wedding. I first photographed their engagement session in Little Compton, RI. Then photographed their micro wedding in 2020. Fast forward to July 2021 and COVID had gone down quite a bit so we could have a safe and big gathering with all their people down on the Cape. They invited me to photograph their welcome party as well at the Chatham Bars Inn. It was great to see the families again and meet some more of the wedding party.
Lauren and Dave each got ready at separate houses and we loved spending the morning with their crew. They were all so fun, and just had a great vibe. After their first look at Wychmere we got the whole wedding party together and also did a few immediate family photos before the ceremony. They had their wedding ceremony on the lawn at Wychmere Beach Club, and it is the perfect backdrop, especially in the summer.
Afterwards everyone could easily walk over to cocktail hour before heading inside for the reception in the Harbor Room downstairs. I love this room because it feels like you’re floating on the harbor. The huge wall of windows gives you a great view and you’re so close to some amazing photos locations.
