Nothing makes me happier as a photographer than when a family sticks with me over time. I remember meeting Courtney and Joe at his cousin’s fabulous winter wedding in New York. We knew we wanted the water and views of the skyline, so we came up with this Charlestown Navy Yard engagement session. They are also huge football fans, so they tossed the ball around a bit, which are some of my favorite photos. The Navy yard and and adjacent shipyard park provided a gorgeous backdrop. After a quick outfit change we hopped in an Uber over to East Boston. If you want views of the skyline at night this is the best spot. It reminded me of that movie La La Land. Really looking forward to their wedding in Newport!
