Harbor View Hotel Martha’s Vineyard Wedding

Alyssa and Matt had the perfect September day for their Harbor View Hotel Martha’s Vineyard wedding. There was so much emotion throughout the day and I absolutely loved every minute! We rode the ferry over the day before in the pouring rain, but their wedding day could not have been better. The girls got ready at a stunning b&b overlooking the Edgartown Lighthouse. Sea Spa Salon from Martha’s Vineyard was there to make sure everyone looked their best. The guys got ready close by at Edgartown Commons.

We all met up at the St. Elizabeth Church in Edgartown for their ceremony. Matt was trying to hold it together as Alyssa walked down the aisle, and I love Alyssa’s dad’s face because he’s so proud of his daughter. After the ceremony everyone gathered outside to throw lavender at the couple as they came out of the church. I loved this because it makes for really fun photos. We headed back to the Edgartown lighthouse for about an hour of portraits with the bridal party, family and the bride and groom. Then it was back to the Harbor View for the reception.

The Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown has got to be THE place to have your wedding on Martha’s Vineyard.

They have a few different options, some with harbor and garden views, and always with the lighthouse close by. Makenzie, the coordinator at the Harbor View is completely amazing to work with. She literally takes care of everything and the day went smoothly. They started out in the ballroom and deck for cocktail hour. They moved to the tent for dinner and toasts, then back to the ballroom for an epic dance party (keep scrolling!). I’m so happy I was able to capture Alyssa and Matt’s wedding celebration and see some familiar faces as well as new friends. Congrats you guys, your day was was full of wonderful moments, and these photos prove it 🙂
