Lake Winnipesaukee Micro Wedding

Oh my gosh, this was one of the coolest and most unique events I’ve ever photographed! Victoria and Mario‘s Lake Winnipesaukee micro wedding had it all, with only 12 people! Their families are so much fun and everyone was just full of joy and emotion, just scroll down to see all the love. I tried to write quite a bit throughout the post to caption what was happening throughout the day.

I had my mask on and stayed 6 feet away during the getting ready and throughout the day, but it was a fun challenge to still be able to capture all the emotion and moments of the day, while staying farther away.

It was just family, but Victoria was really missing her Maid of Honor who couldn’t be there, so she was on the phone with us for most of the day so she could experience the wedding as well!

Both families are really into music and it was a big part of the day!

That first look, are you kidding me Mario?! Amazing.

Not a bad spot to say your vows!

Susan from Lakes Region Floral Studio did an amazing job with this arch!

My favorite part of the day was right after their first kiss.

Their other friends and family were watching the ceremony live from the laptop and they stopped to say hi to everyone and thanks for being part of their day.

I’m not sure what was said during all of these dad moments, but I’m sure they will never forget it. I hope these photos remind them of those words and emotions they felt on the day.

When you have a Tiki Bar in the backyard you go straight there after you get married!

Then we hopped on the boat for a quick ride around the Lake!

Victoria’s brother at the helm!

Everyone was honking and waving as they rode by!

We have fun 🙂

Victoria’s brothers also served as MC/DJ and introduced the couple for their first dance.

Parent dances!

The MOH got to experience the day virtually.

It’s a shame no one had any fun at this wedding lol

A few sunset photos then back to the Tiki Bar

As we were walking down to the dock to watch the fireworks show, their neighbor sent up a lantern in honor of the couple’s big day!

Here’s what Mario had to say about his experience.

“Working with Stephen from the outset was an absolute breeze as he championed all of our ideas about our engagement photoshoot. Then, unexpectedly, our COVID-19 wedding the same year. Stephen quickly felt more like a friend and another person on our team who was dedicated to making our experience special. We really appreciated this, especially when everyone’s wedding plans were shifting. Stephen was extremely flexible and communicative, coordinating with us over months as we arranged and rearranged our wedding plan. Stephen came recommended through my brother-in-law’s wedding photographer. We knew that when we started working with him on our engagement photos that he was the perfect fit. Those photos really showed how much my wife and I love each other and how excited we were to begin our journey, but we didn’t know what Stephen was fully capable of until the wedding…

In short: if you want a photographer for your wedding that will make you laugh, genuinely share in your happiness, and take the edge off a little bit while dedicating his time to craft the perfect shot, Stephen is your guy.”
