Abby and Bobby’s The Villa wedding day was perfect! It’s a beautiful venue in East Bridgewater, MAThey started out getting ready in Plymouth at Hotel 1620. It’s a great spot for you and your guests, right in downtown Plymouth, and across the street from the ocean. They also have large rooms which is so great to photograph in. This will also be a huge help to your hair and makeup team to have a large room with natural light. Once we got to the Villa, they saw each other right away for their first look! There’s this great lawn space along the tree line and golf course that is perfect for photos. It seems like the light is always in the right spot there as well.
After some family and wedding party photos we all headed over to the garden for the ceremony. Again the light was perfect with the sun behind the couple. Bobby got a little choked up as Abby was walking down the aisle. This proves what I always tell couples, the first look doesn’t ruin the down-the-aisle moment. I also know this from personal experience. I cried during my own first look and cried again during the ceremony.
There are three options for wedding receptions at The Villa. We were in the Grand Ballroom and I love the swanky feel and gorgeous fireplace. I also love how it opens up to the hude cocktail hour room so guests can take a break and go to the bar or relax on the couches if they’re not dancing. They partied so hard and had so much fun. I loved this wedding and hope to back at The Villa soon!

I love hopping on the golf cart at sunset and going out to the old bridge!
