What an amazingly elegant black-tie Revolution Hall Troy NY wedding! First of all, check out the amazing video from Brighter Lights Media. Make sure you have a few minutes carved out to scroll through this wedding. New Year’s Eve weddings are always super fun because of the anticipation of not only the ceremony and the beginning of a new family, but the beginning of a new year.
It was an absolutely freezing cold day and we didn’t take one photo outdoors. Luckily Revolution Hall is full of amazing locations for photos, four different floors to be exact. I had never been up to the top floor. The light coming in through those windows made it look like a movie set. We then headed down to the bottom floor with the brick and the bar, everywhere you turn it’s a scene out of a classic movie. The third floor balcony is where we did the first look and it’s covered in twinkle lights, which if you’ve read their engagement session blog post, you know that we love the twinkle lights! They got married in a very sweet ceremony performed by their close friend. Then they danced until (after) midnight and gold and black beach balls dropped from the ceiling to ring in the new year.

I love this perspective of the first kiss!
Ja was a little short to reach the cake, so Shane being a good husband gave her a lift.
Then shoved cake in her face 🙂
